Ceres - Pollys

It’s an honour every time we take part in the International Women’s Collab Brew Day here at Polly’s; a global celebration of the achievements of women in beer, whilst simultaneously raising awareness and highlighting gender inequality.
We were delighted to welcome some of the team from our upcoming bar and restaurant Polly’s Social, alongside family and friends of the brewery to brew a wonderfully soft DDH Pale Ale named for the Roman goddess of agriculture, grain crops, and motherly relationships – Ceres.
We’ve generously hopped this beer with Ella and Idaho 7 on the hot side before cold side additions of in-house favourites Simcoe and Krush impart a tonne of juicy tropical notes, along with stone fruit and zippy citrus to boot.
Raising a glass to the women who inspire, support and shape the world around us, alongside this beer we’ll also be making a donation to Strut Safe – a volunteer-operated not for profit, non-judgemental support line that stays on the phone with lone travelling women until they arrive safely at the destination they’re travelling to.
